China-Africa Cooperation in IP Protection Opens a New Page

The first cooperation project between the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of China and the African intellectual property field - Seminar for IP Protection Officials from African French-speaking Countries was held in Beijing from November 7 to 25. This marks the completion of the first cooperation project between China and Africa in the trademark and intellectual property field and that intellectual property protection in Central Africa opens a new page.

The African Intellectual Property Organization is the intellectual property agency for 16 African countries whose official language is French and the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization is the common intellectual property agency for 18 African countries whose official language is English. Except the two agencies, the 34 member states don’t set up intellectual property agency separately.
