In recent years, Chongqing focused on founding a model city of intellectual property rights, with its intellectual property services sector setting the pace for the west region.
Recently the special-subject research team of Inter-Ministerial Joint Conference of National Intellectual Property Strategy Implementation researched the intellectual property protection in Chongqing, held “Research Conversazione for Cultivation and Development of Intellectual Property Services” and visited Chongqing Motorcycle (Motor Vehicles) Intellectual Property Information Center, High-tech Zone of Chongqing, Chongqing HIFU Medical Technology Company.
The research team held that Chongqing as the only municipality in western China, accompanied by the rapid development of high-tech industries and continuous optimization and upgrade of traditional industries, has developed rapidly the corresponding intellectual property services sector and established a Chongqing-feature industry of intellectual property rights service, with obvious advantages in building IPR public service platform, creating intellectual property services sector base, supporting development of various intellectual property market service bodies, building IPR overseas right-guarding and investment service system, strengthening intellectual property service of strategic emerging industries, etc, setting the pace for the west region.
